In today’s fast moving world we have a very tight schedule. There are a lot of responsibilities to be fulfilled by the same person. So in that case when it comes to personal health then nobody cares. But once the health goes down it won’t listen to these lame excuses and needless to say you’ll suffer. If we actually see we don’t always suffer from serious diseases from the outset rather it becomes serious gradually. One such problem, which almost all people are suffering, is gaining extra calories, which gradually leads to various types of problems. So why not solve the problem at the very beginning. Though the problem might seem quite big but there’s a very simple solution by which you can burn calories i.e. walking.
How it helps
It is regarded as the simplest and the most effective way to burn calories. Actually when we walk then the metabolism of our body increases and heat is generated within our body which melts down the extra fat deposits which in turn help us in burning the extra calories that we have gained.
According the studies it has been shown that one pound of fat is equal to 3500 calories. So in order to reduce one pound of fat you have to spend more 3500 calories except the amount of calories, which you gain after normalized eating. And this you can do by walking. A one-week period to reduce one pound of fat will be a nice goal to achieve.
Actually there is a simple formula by which you can also determine how much you need to walk to burn the required amount of calories you want to burn.
It is: – weight * distance = energy used in walking.
Here the energy used in walking is the amount of calories burnt. So you cal easily calculate the amount of calories you will burn.
Now people who are obese will not prefer walking as they can’t walk fast. But it’s not a fact that only fast walking will help you in burning calories, in fact slow walking also helps the same way and moreover it’s easier on the joints and one will lose the same amount of calories.
Conclusion
So there can’t be a better way other than walking to burn calories because it is convenient, safe and it’s totally free!!!
