Radiograph abnormalities in adults are an effective tool to measure irregularities in adults. These abnormalities can be related to various body parts such as sacrum, skull, chest, cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar spine, abdomen etc. Additionally there are many kinds of abnormalities that can occur in adults which can be related to external parts of body such as elbow, radius and ulna, wrist, hand, fingers and thumb, pelvic girdle, femur, knee, tibia ,humerus, fibula etc.

Usually mammograms are useful in physical breast examination to detect breast cancer. Mammograms are useful than other techniques to detect breast cancer. There are other techniques used with mammography such as magnetic resonance, ultrasound, ductography etc. Ultrasound is used to detect palpable masses, which are not seen through mammograms. Ductograms are useful to evaluate bloody nibble discharge when mammograms are not useful. Magnetic resonance image is quite useful for further investigation

Dental radiography is another useful technique to detect abnormalities in adults. This technique is used to find abnormalities in adults such as treatment of root canal and other mouth related diseases such as cavities.
