Ice hockey is also a very good game for burning calories. It requires skating ability to play this game. It requires lots of energy to play this game, as player have to control its movement, fight with each other for puck, increasing speed, etc. hence, it gives good exercise to the body to burn calories. Ice hockey is popular in European countries. Ice hockey is game similar to hockey. It is mainly played in cold countries. It is an also one of the major professional sports nowadays.

In Canada this ice hockey is very popular. Game playing rules if you need to play for calorie burning. It contains six players per side wearing ice skates. Where one is goaltender each side. Team which score more goal wins the match. Vulcanized rubber disc, puck used playing. Player controls puck using stick. Players can control with body parts also, but some restriction is there which should be avoided. Player cans ankle feet in order to redirect puck into net, but no kicking allowed. Players cannot touch puck with hand. Game consist a period of 20 minutes. Clock is kept active only when puck is in play. At each end of period team changes its side. If score is draw in all three periods, then sudden death is played for 20 more minutes, in which teams plays until score happens. If again tie occurs, then three penalty shootouts are done.

Burning calories through this game:

It needs hard surfaces of ice and boards, pucks and hockey bat, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, mouth guard, protective gloves, heavily padded shorts, neck guard, and shin guard, otherwise their high change of getting serious injuries. It requires control in movement while playing which gives good exercise to body, it increases metabolic rate that burns calories ultimately. It increases blood circulation to avoid cardiac diseases. This game helps in burning calories, loosing weight and strengthens your heart. It gives good physical exercise to burn calorie.
