Also, while climbing the hill or the mountain, individuals must keep their backs straight and breathe from the nose instead of breathing from the mouth. Hiking not only burns large amounts of calories but also enhances endurance levels and stamina of the individual. Also, the overall flexibility of the individual can be enhanced due to hiking. The muscles, especially the hamstrings and the calves get strengthened due to regular hiking. In case, the individual is carrying excess weight in the form of a backpack it would further lead to excess decline in calories. Also, individuals can enjoy the greenery and the beauty of nature around while he works to reduce the burden of calories. Hiking can be the best activity for those who do not like to be in closed gyms and enjoy the freshness of the outdoors.
