The change in behaviour of people due to this disease which is sexually transmitted has produced cultural and emotional change and when this change will be noticed or studied by historians, will leave them aghast.

Herpes has created a sense of fear in everyone’s mind. People even fear to go for herpes check-up. They don’t even want themselves to be aware of the fact that they are suffering from the herpes and this may lead to spread of the disease to their loved ones and partners and even to their children.

Those who are aware of the fact that they have been engulfed with the disease are also scared to share it with their lovers. The idea of very rejection marks this fear. If comparing among the two sexes, men fear the most with the idea of rejection. Younger generation are usually callous and irresponsible as they are afraid of admitting and sharing their disease with others.

The awareness has to be created to combat the disease as it can be prevented not cured. People even have fear of starting charities to raise funds for making people aware of herpes prevention, treatment and research.
