Herpes is a sexually transmitted disease and the causing agent is a virus. The two viruses associated with the disease are HSV-1 and HSV-2. The disease may be mild or severe depending on the immunity of the body it attacks. There is still no permanent cure developed for the disease. Once the virus enters human body it is impossible for body to permanently remove it. The virus occupies a permanent position inside the body. It gets re-activated from time to time but the frequency of the disease is reduced. The first outbreak being the most severe and the later are milder ones. The Hsv-1 attacks the upper part of the body which is responsible for causing herpes rash skin. The symptoms are red dots or blisters are seen in the beginning and in the later stage they take the shape and in 2-3 weeks time the outbreak may occur, which may be accompanied by pain. Itching and burning sensation is also noticed before the outbreak.
Sometimes it is difficult to recognise the symptoms even and this may lead to transmission of the disease to other person. Eczema or skin rash cause one’s skin to itch, become scaly and even may dry up. The skin gets break due to loss of moisture, and many complication may arise due to problems in the skin. These symptoms may be indication to a very serious problem, a viral infection which is known as herpes simplex eczema.
The infection is of vary common type and may spread on skin and face and may be very painful. It then moves towards the genital area and may lead to more serious disease. This is one of the problems which the virus can cause and it pains to say that it is not curable completely. Due to its allergic nature it can be triggered any time during the stay of virus inside the body. The virus may even induce side effects in the body. The treatment is also expensive for the above.
No single medication works for the disease. Therefore to make the treatment effective various medicines are combined and taken together. It may include ointments like calamine. Anti-inflammatory medications are also prescribed. If the person does not want to opt for treatment than chances are increased for the skin to get damaged and rash has to be treated in time to prevent this to happen. The prevention of the disease to happen is the only best way to cure it. Proper care must be taken which may prove to be helpful.
