Exercise is important to ensure that not only does all the excess fat stored in the body gets burnt but even to ensure that you remain energetic all day long. Exercise also ensures that all your muscles are properly stretched and therefore always in great shape.

One of the other benefits of exercise is that it tones up the body which makes you look not only attractive but even far more athletic. Your bones get strengthened and your energy level shoots up to new highs after an hour of good exercising.

Also exercise is very important along with any kind of dietary modification that you are trying to lose weight. Simply following a diet will never help. You’ll have to exercise to lose weight because when you eat less calories, the body makes up for it by burning less calories, reducing the amount of energy and raw materials being supplied for reactions. When you exercise, you force the body to pump up all the reactions and keep burning fat and supplying minerals and vitamins like usual days.
