Dermatologists are the doctors who have specialized in the pathology as well as physiology of the skin. They are the special physicians who can diagnose and treat the tumors and the diseases of the skin and its appendages. Dermatologists practice laser surgery, skin cancer surgery, and cosmetic procedures by the use of liposuction, botulinum toxin, soft tissue fillers and sclerotherapy.
There are different types of Dermatologists. Like there are ImmunoDermatologists who specialize in diagnosing and managing the disease of the skin caused due to altered immune system. There are pediatric Dermatologists. They are special physicians who diagnose and treat the skin diseases cause din small children. Dermatologists also manage a wide range of congenital syndromes.

He is well trained in the fields of surgery, rheumatology, neurology, immunology, endocrinology and infectious diseases.
Dermatologists are doctors that can treat the different conditions affecting the skin, nails and the hairs. First, they have to earn a medical degree and complete the respective internships. They to take 3 years of special training to become an expert in treating the problems associated with the skin, hair and nails. There are Dermatologists who have general practices and can attend patients with all types of skin concerns; whereas there are some Dermatologists who undergo extensive training in a particular field of dermatology like surgery, cosmetics or pediatrics.
A skilled Dermatologist generally combines different activities like observing patients in public or private clinics, consulting other specialists, basic and clinical research and teaching. Dermatologists should be expert in basic sciences that includes pathology, microbiology, physics, biochemistry, endocrinology and physiology.
Dermatologists might perform skin surgery in cases for preventing or providing early control over the disease such as skin cancer; for establishing an accurate biopsy and for improving the appearance of the skin by removing the discolorations, growths, damages caused due to diseases, sunlight or ageing.
