Chemical peel treatments are also referred as chemexfoliation or derma-peeling and they are utilized to enhance complexion. In this technique, firstly, an application of the chemical solution is applied to the skin and that causes skin to swell and peel off in due course. The new skin which is regenerated from such treatment is soft and does not have any wrinkles, folds as compared to old skin. Moreover, this new skin momentarily shows more sensitiveness to sunlight.

The patients having fair-skinned and hair which are very light are the suitable candidate for the treatment like chemical peels. The person having dark skin also shows satisfactory results to such treatment.

Firstly, by applying chemical solution beneath the eyes and mouth, the fine lines under those organs can be removed. So in such case, it requires special cosmetic surgery procedures like carbon dioxide laser resurfacing, a facelift, brow lift, eyelid lift or soft tissue filler.
