Lots physical exercises are done at the same time while playing, which burns calories. It is played by different age of people.</p><p>In volleyball, a high net separates two teams. Each team consists of six members. Player uses hands, arms or other part to hit the ball over the net. Each team is allowed hit the ball three times, that is, in three hit team should cross the ball across the net. When ball hits opponents ground then point is gained. Also if opponent fails to return the ball properly or commit some fault then team gives points to opponent. A server of the serving team must give legal service by hitting the ball such that it would cross the net and lands on opponents land. The opponent team must return the ball back in a three contacts. During fingering, ball should not touch the palm of hand. If same player hits the ball twice, it is foul. Player of any team should not touch the net. Service should be within the boundary of opponent, if not then service is transferred to opponent team. Service change occurs whenever receiver wins the rally. Team will get point if they wins rally consecutively. Team that gets 15 point first wins the game.</p><p>Volleyball burns calories:</p><p>This game requires lots of energy to play, as there are lots of jumping, smashing, short running and diving. You have to do body movement throughout the game, which gives our body a good exercise. Lots of calories were got burn while playing this game, as it increases metabolism of your body. It also enlarges your muscles, so it again your metabolic activities, as muscles are more active than your fat. It burns 50% of calories. It wipes out heart disease. Lots of sweating is gain while playing this game, hence reduces your fats too. It is played widely in Asian countries such as China, Japan and Thailand, and now going global. Badminton is either played between two opposing players, which is termed as single or between two opposing pairs of players, which is called as Doubles. The players take position on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. Badminton uses a feathered projectile called as a Shuttlecock. These shuttlecock is strongly affected by the winds, hence this game is played indoor.</p><p>Court dimensions:</p><p>The court is rectangular and divided by net in two halves. Courts are marked for both singles and doubles. Double court is wider than the single one. For double width are 6.1 meters and 5.18 for singles. The total length of the court for both single and double are 13.4 meters. Service courts are marked by centerline. Short service line is marked 1.98m from the net. In double, service court is marked 0.78 meters from the back boundary.</p><p>The net is 1.55 meters (5 feet 1 inch) high at edge and 5 feet high in the center.</p><p>There is no fixed height limit for ceiling. If the service hits the ceiling, then serve is repeated again.</p><p>Score and rules of the badminton:</p><p>A point is added to the players whenever player wins the rally. Game is played in best of three. Player who reaches 21 points earlier wins the match. But if both the players or pairs reaches 20 points, then play continues until either of one player or player pair achieves a two point lead continuously will win the match. But it goes upto 30 points only. At 30, score might be like 29-30, and then 30-point fellow wins the game, as game did not extended or crosses the 30 points.</p><p>At the start of the match coin toss is done between the players or pairs. Winner chooses whether to serve or receive or side. Sometime, shuttle is hit in air; whichever side it points to shall to serve first. In subsequent game, winners of previous game start the serve. After each match players changes its side. But in the case of third game players changes its side after 11 points.</p><p>In singles, server shall stand in his right service court when his score is even and left service court when it is odd. And players should stand diagonally opposite service court.</p><p>In doubles, the players shall remember their service positions from previous rally; receivers should remain in same court, when receiving pairs wins a point. If the new score is even, then player in the right service court shall serve; if it is odd then player in the left service court should serve.</p><p>Service should not to short or should not reach the third court.
