In brow lift surgery, the elevation of the forehead is done in order to increase higher eyelids. It is also performed to lessen the wrinkles and frown lines. A brow lift is one of the types of plastic surgery, which is performed to decrease or generate the muscles underneath of the forehead and move up the brow tissues. Medically two types of brow lift surgery are open and endoscopic procedures.

A brow lift is carried out to lessen the wrinkles, which occurs across the forehead. It is also instrumental to diminish those scratches, which develops on the higher side of the nasal bridge. A brow lift is not only useful to remove the puckered brow lines but also relocate a low or sagging brow. Such brow fit is also known as forehead lift.

The maximum duration of the operation like brow lift is 1 to 2 hours. After undergoing the operation, a patient can come back to its regular work after 7 to 10 days approximately.

In the Endoscopic brow lift, the operation is carried out between 3 to 5 minute kinds of incisions. These incisions having the size of 2.5 cm in length are prepared within the scalp. The inspection of the underlying tissues is performed by the surgeon by taking use of endoscope.

In this operation, at one end a minute bended tube with a miniature camera place in one incision. The removal or loosening of the muscles and lifting of the eyebrows are held in place by using stitches or momentary screws following the hairline.
