Belly fat is not even by the least measure a pleasant sight for most of us. And the world has finally awakened to the fact that a fat belly is not a sign of healthy and plentiful eating but a sign of unhealthy and wasteful eating. There are many reasons why people develop a belly fat and there are many repercussions of not keeping the belly fat in control. The worst part is that most of these repercussions only tend to shorten your life span and therefore cut short your stay on the planet.

Today’s busy lifestyle leaves very little room for most of us to spend some quality time exercising. Meetings, work and shopping eat away most of our time. Our schedules are often so tight that we don’t even get a chance to think about ourselves. And this is not just for those who are stuck in the corporate world. The condition is very much the same for entrepreneurs, businessmen and even housewives. Entrepreneurs busy in setting up their business often don’t even have enough time to eat, let alone exercise. Businessmen are all day long busy deciding strategies on how to beat the competition which is rising exponentially every day. Housewives too are not spared because while the husband is away all day long because of work, she has to take care of the house, the kids and the occasional relatives. This just means that she has to do not just her part but also a little bit of the husband’s part of the job.

Most of us fit anywhere between the 4 categories mentioned above and therefore have little time to exercise and most often eat. This in turn means that we have to always look out to fill our stomachs in the shortest possible duration of time and this ultimately makes us eat and fill our stomachs with junk food. Burgers, Pizzas, Tacos, Fries and colas is all that we end up eating.

No doubt that all these are really filling and even tasty but do you ever realize the cost at which this taste comes? It comes at the cost of your health. All these foods contain high amounts of sugar, calories and fats which ultimately become belly fat. This belly fat not only makes you look ugly but even sluggish. This belly fat is also responsible for several other ailments. And high fat content in your body anyways is the first step towards clogged arteries and a heart attack.
